I like to use this tray for making clean, crisp ice cubes for cocktails. This ice tray works perfectly for that! The protective cover keeps the cubes from evaporating away like ice cubes do in an open tray over time. It's really easy to pop out just one cube at a time without disturbing the others, so it's really convenient for situations where you don't need a whole tray at once. I like this tray a lot!

It makes sense to me to have silicone ice cube trays. It makes it much easier to get the whole thing out of the mold. You can use these to freeze different things.
