The hydropod fits well in my indoor hydroponic garden. You can use the basil seeds or use seeds from other plants. I'm growing red vined sorrel, yarrow, and toothache plant in mine.

The two hydropods (in same shipment) arrived without some of the essential parts, but customer service was very responsive and promptly sent two more, which were complete.
