Now that you've made a batch of Peach Bourbon, it's time to make a cocktail! Here, we upgrade the classic Old Fashioned with flavors of fruit, cinnamon and cloves to create a Spiced Peach Old Fashioned. It's a tasty way to end a long day on a high note.
Spiced Peach Old Fashioned
Makes One Cocktail
- 1 cube cane sugar
- 5 dashes aromatic bitters
- 3 oz Peach Bourbon
- 2 cloves
- 1 stick cinnamon (plus 1 to garnish)
- 1 slice fresh peach (to garnish)
- Add the cane sugar cubes and bitters to a cocktail mixing glass.
- Muddle the ingredients in the bottom of the mixing glass until the sugar has mostly dissolved. Add the Peach Bourbon and spices.
- Add ice to just above the level of the liquid and stir for 15 seconds. Strain the mixture into a rocks glass containing a single large cube of ice.
- Garnish with the remaining cinnamon and peach slice.
