I tried another brand of silicone stretch lids and it took so much effort to put them on the bowls, that I had to throw them away. The W&P brand is wonderful and easy to use, in spite of my arthritis. I put one cover on half of a small watermelon and it worked great! Note: if the edges of the melon rind is not dry, the cover may slip off or juice may leak out. I am so glad that I rarely have the need of plastic wrap anymore.
