Tulsi Hot Toddy
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon dried tulsi
- 1/4 teaspoon ashwagandha bark (optional)
- 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons raw honey
- 1 lemon slide, for garnish
- 5 whole cloves, for garnish
SPECIAL TOOLS
- Tea ball infuser
- Teapot
INSTRUCTIONS
- Bring the water to a boil.
- Fill a tea ball infuser with the tulsi and ashwagandha (if using). Place the infuser into a teapot.
- Pour the boiling water into the teapot and let steep, covered, for 15 minutes.
- Remove the infuser and mix in the lemon juice and honey.
- Serve in a cup with a floating lemon slice pierced with cloves.
- Sip this drink hot.
