Throw Your Own Ranch Party

Lights. Camera. Neon. It's time to tap into that late 80s / early 90s nostalgia and let the ranch flow (literally). Whether you stick to dips or whip up some of the more adventurous recipes in Ranch: An Ode to America's Beloved Sauce in 60 Mouth-Watering Recipes, here are a few tips to get the ranch party started: 

• More is more. One thing we love about those Saved by The Bell vibes? They go directly against Coco Chanel's sage advice: "Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take one thing off." For one night only, layer it on (and on and on).
• Google Memphis design. As a child, you probably didn't realize that all those geometric patterns and bright colors were part of a larger movement. This influential Italian maximalist aesthetic is the high brow inspiration behind composition notebooks, snap bracelets and even MC Hammer pants.

• Choose one killer centerpiece. Decking your whole home out in ranch-worthy decor might not be realistic. But might we suggest a ranch fountain? Simply fill a chocolate fountain with ranch dressing. (Or recreate a fountain-like effect with tiered cake trays offering various versions of ranch.)
