The Americano
On a recent trip to Italy, we found ourselves at Franco's Bar, a proper cocktail bar that boasts a spectacular view of the Amalfi Coast. There, we met Head Bartender Gianluca who mixed up us one of Italy's classic cocktails: The Americano.
Named for American expats living in Italy during Prohibition, The Americano is comprised of equal parts Campari, sweet vermouth and club soda. We think it's the perfect cocktail for relishing the end of summer.
