Each fall, when the farmers market is bursting with apples, we pick up bushels of the fruit to make pies, top warm oatmeal...and make seasonal cocktails, of course! The Spiced Apple is a super simple drink that captures the crispness of fresh apples with applejack, Boylan Heritage Ginger and warm baking spices.
The Spiced Apple
Makes one cocktail
- 1 1/2 oz applejack
- 5 oz Boylan Heritage Ginger
- 3 dashes spiced bitters
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 2 slices apple
- In a collins glass filled with ice, combine applejack and Boylan Heritage Ginger.
- Top with bitters. Garnish with cinnamon stick and apple slices.
