Spring has officially arrived, and we're ready with a light cocktail that's perfect for our favorite warm weather activity: outdoor drinking. We’re big fans of this classic combination of sweet strawberries and tart rhubarb, a pairing that makes us nostalgic for our Southern upbringing.
This recipe is adapted from a cocktail in our book, Shake: A New Perspective on Cocktails. Fresh rhubarb gets muddled in the bottle of the Mason Shaker. Strawberry-rhubarb preserves, lemon and Ketel One Vodka join the mix. After a good shake, the mixture is strained through a fine strainer into an ice-filled collins glass and topped with club soda. Garnish with a rhubarb stalk and enjoy!

- Muddle the rhubarb in the Mason Shaker.
- Add remaining ingredients, except the club soda.
- Add ice to just above the level of the liquid, and shake for 10 seconds.
- Strain through a fine mesh strainer into collins glasses filled with ice.
- Top with club soda and garnish with a rhubarb stalk.
