Named for the Cuban town where it was invented, the daiquiri is a rum-based drink that's simple and refreshing. Writer Ernest Hemingway was known for kicking back with the cocktail during his time in Cuba, and even JFK considered the daiquiri to be a favorite. We don't blame either of them! It's hard to go wrong with the classic combination of white rum, lime and sugar.
