The Honey-Berry Lemonade

October 09, 2015

Muddling fresh farmer's market berries into this non-alcoholic cocktail creates a refreshing take on a homemade lemonade, infused with the flavors of summer. (It's a far cry from the powdered mix you’ll find at the grocery store!)

Should you decide to transform this day drink into something for evening, a number of your favorite liquors would pair nicely. We love the idea of adding a shot of vodka, rum, or gin to the mix.

The Honey-Berry Lemonade
Makes two drinks

  • 6 shots spring water
  • 2 shots lemon juice
  • 1 shot honey
  • 6 strawberries (plus 2 for garnish)
  • 6 blueberries (plus 2 for garnish)
  • 6 raspberries (plus 2 for garnish)
  • 2 lemon rounds
  1. Add lemon juice, honey and berries to The Mason Shaker.
  2. Muddle the ingredients in the bottom of the shaker until the berries are crushed.
  3. Add spring water to the shaker. Add ice to just above the liquid, and shake vigorously for 20 seconds.
  4. Strain the cocktail into two tall glasses filled with ice, and garnish with remaining berries.
